What is the process of installing a fuel dispenser

Jun 15, 2021

1. The pipeline and tank installation of the tanker

The single-unit pipeline of the fuel dispenser generally uses 1.5-inch galvanized pipes. The flanges of the pipeline should be connected with wires at both ends. The entire oil tank and piping system should be in a good grounding state. After the oil pipeline is laid, it should pass the pressure test inspection. Whether there is a leak.

The oil pipeline should have an inclination of not less than 0.002. The diameter of the oil tank vent pipe is not less than 1.5 inches, and the height is not less than 4 meters. Try not to use right-angle elbows at the bends of oil pipelines.

The requirements for the burying of the oil tank pipeline, the top of the tank should be less than 700mm from the ground, and the pipeline should be less than 500mm from the ground.

2. The bend angle of the oil pipeline should be as few as possible. The horizontal distance between the tanker and the underground tank should generally not exceed 50 meters, and the vertical distance between the lowest surface of the tank and the fuel inlet of the tanker should generally not exceed 5 meters. An oil-resistant gasket must be added to the triangle valve between the inlet of the oil pipeline and the suction pipe of the machine.

3. A 1.5-inch check valve (double-door bottom valve) should be installed at the bottom of the oil inlet pipe in the oil tank. The lower end of the check valve is about 12cm from the bottom of the tank. Carefully clean the oil tank and the check valve before installing the check valve. Sundries, and use oil to test the sealing performance of the one-way valve to avoid blockage of the one-way valve and oil leakage when the machine is activated.

4. Do not use two fuel dispensers or two pumps of a dual gun and dual fuel dispenser to share a pipeline branch for fuel supply, so as to avoid mutual interference. If a fuel dispenser pumps fuel from two or more tanks, a valve should be set, and only the tank valve should be opened during use, and the valves of other tanks should be effectively closed.

5. The tanker is designed according to the conditions of outdoor installation and the use of underground oil tanks. Therefore, the tanker should avoid the use of above-ground tanks and high-level oil tanks (the bottom of the tank is lower than the tanker oil pump and the upper part is higher than the tanker oil pump). If above-ground tanks or high-level oil tanks are used, the exhaust pipe of the dispenser should be sealed to avoid oil spitting out of the exhaust pipe.
