Eaglestar Smart Flexible Lock--Brilliant, Safety & Reliable
Late at night, an fuel tanker pulls over on a deserted highway. The driver stops at an unauthorized spot and tries to open the hatch. If it were a traditional seal, no one would ever know. But with the Eaglestar Smart Flexible Lock, this changes.
The moment the driver touches the lock, a signal is sent through the in-cab transmission terminal to the cloud platform. A manager sitting at a desk miles away sees a red alert flash across the screen: "Unauthorized opening attempt outside geo-fence."
Eaglestar Smart Flexible Lock is designed to secure the hatch and discharge port of oil tankers-the front line of cargo security during transit. Alongside it, we'll also talk about its partners: the Signal Transmission Terminal (the data hub installed in the cab), and the Lead Seal Strip, used for high-risk connection points.
Together, these three components form a complete, proactive, and auditable IoT security.
How the Three Components Work Together
To make things clearer, here's how they fit together:
Smart Flexible Lock: Installed on the tank hatch and discharge port. Handles physical locking and real-time status sensing.
Signal Transmission Terminal: Installed inside the cab. Collects data from the lock and sends it to the cloud. Acts as the on-site data hub.
Smart Lead Seal Strip: Used on manhole covers, flange connections, and subsea valve interfaces. Replaces traditional single-use seals. Runs on a 3-to-5-year battery and triggers an alarm if cut. Also supports NFC verification via smartphone.
Connected through IoT, these three let you see everything from a single dashboard: what's locked, who opened it, where, and whether it was authorized.
Eaglestar Smart Flexible Lock
At the heart of this system is a black, flexible lock.
It's not a simple lock. It runs on a rechargeable lithium battery. It's waterproof. It handles outdoor conditions with ease. A full charge lasts up to a month, and if you're in a hurry, 30 minutes of charging gives you a full battery.
It's intrinsically safe and explosion-proof, built for hazardous environments. Whether it's an oil tanker, a mining truck, or a chemical transport vehicle, it holds the critical points securely.
But what makes it different is that it doesn't just lock-it senses.
Inside the lock are sensors that constantly monitor whether it's "in position" (securely locked) or "out of position" (loose or opened). Every 5 to 8 seconds, it sends its status via LoRa to the transmission terminal in the cab, which then forwards the data to the cloud over 4G.
From lock to cloud, no blind spots.
advantages and features
Waterproof & Fast Charging
The black lock is built to withstand rain, dust, and temperature swings. A 30-minute charge powers it for a full month.
Geo-Fencing + Instant Alerts
Authorized zones (like depots or stations) can be set up in the system. The lock can only be opened within these zones. Any attempt outside triggers an immediate alert and logs the event.
Per-Compartment Control
A tanker may have multiple compartments for different delivery points. The system supports independent control per compartment-each one locked and authorized separately to prevent cross-discharge.
Long Battery Life + Offline Data Backup
The white seal strip lasts 3 to 5 years on a single charge with no maintenance. If the vehicle enters an area with no signal, devices store data locally and auto-sync once connectivity returns.

Transmission Terminal
Installed inside the cab, the transmission terminal serves as the system's communication hub.
It communicates with the lock via LoRa and uploads data to the cloud in real time through 4G networks. No matter where the vehicle travels, lock status, location, battery level, and alerts are all updated on the backend.
This is the critical link that ensures uninterrupted connectivity between the lock and the cloud.
